Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a strategic CDC General Manager in Milwaukee to lead our distribution operations with a team of leaders. The role drives safety, service, productivity, and inventory performance while shaping the next generation of operational leaders.

Responsibilities include optimizing labor, inventory, and capacity, coaching managers, and delivering efficient, profitable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, fulfillment, or related environments.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience leading managers, supervisors, or cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, transportation, and distribution operations.
• Experience driving talent development, change leadership, and operational results.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead all distribution center operations through managers and leaders.
• Drive safety, service, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
• Develop leaders via coaching, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Optimize labor, inventory, and capacity to meet objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
• Manage operating expenses, assets, and performance metrics for profitability.
• Foster accountability, safety, collaboration, and results.
