Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West) at the Broadview Heights campus. This full-time role features rotating 12-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays, and a sign-on bonus for qualified experience.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, an active Ohio RN license, and current BLS; ACLS is required within six months of hire. Tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Current AHA BLS for the healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (CCSD).
• Monitor patients with telemetry, complex cardiac needs, and respiratory support.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Providers, and therapists to coordinate care.
