Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Cleveland. You will work 72 hours bi-weekly on rotating 12-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with weekends and holidays rotating. The role includes complex cardiac and respiratory care, with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for qualifying experience.

Required: Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS; preferred: BSN. The unit has 24 beds with 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and comprehensive benefits including OPERS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or awaiting accreditation).
• Active Ohio RN license required.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapists.
• Manage bedside care, patient monitoring and procedures as applicable.
