Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Ohio. The role features 72 bi-weekly hours with 7a-7p/7p-7a shifts and rotating weekends/holidays, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs (5,000 for new graduates).

The unit cares for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis, offering telemetry, bedside procedures, EKG interpretation, and ventilator care, requiring strong critical thinking and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
