Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit, 7 West. You will work a rotating 12-hour schedule (7a-7p / 7p-7a) with weekends/holidays rotating, in a 24-bed unit with telemetry and advanced technology.

Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (or within 6 months). Preferred BSN. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and flexible career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification for healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West) with 24 beds.
• Assist with bedside procedures and telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
• Perform EKG interpretation and manage ventilator support needs.
