Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio. The role features a 72.00 Bi-Weekly Hours full-time schedule and rotating weekends/holidays, within a 24-bed unit that supports high-acuity cardiac patients.

Expect ongoing training with advanced telemetry, patient lifts, and hands-free communication tools; required qualifications include Ohio RN license and BLS/ACLS with a BSN preferred; sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days).
• ACLS certification (or obtained within 6 months).
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Critical Care Step-Down unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and rehab teams.
• Utilize EKG interpretation and central line care in daily tasks.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and manage complex airway needs.
