Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CCTV Operator to support inspection and cleaning of water and sewer pipelines. You will operate remote CCTV cameras, locate manholes, and assist in jetting and cleaning tasks.

The role requires travel and a readiness to work around water infrastructure in various environments. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, understands plans and specs, and can handle safety protocols while delivering reliable observations and recordings for

Qualifications

At least 1-year experience with water, sewer, televising, jetting, or CIPP construction.
Strong knowledge of plans and specifications.
Proficient with lasers, line and grade.
Strong customer service and communication skills with mechanical aptitude.
General knowledge of safety hazards and precautions.

Responsibilities

Operate remote CCTV cameras to capture interior of pipelines and assess cleaning needs.
Jetting, cabling, and installing clean-outs as needed.
Locate manholes from maps and assist with site surveys.
Support sewer maintenance, inspection, or rehabilitation tasks as assigned.
Set up and take down traffic controls in street areas.
Maintain and operate equipment and store footage safely.
Perform related duties and contribute to special projects as required.
