Job summary

The Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CCTV Operator to perform camera inspections of pipelines, jetting, cabling, and manhole location. Travel is required and work will occur around waterlines and sewer infrastructure.

You will operate CCTV equipment, maintain footage, and support safe, efficient rehabilitation projects. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in water/sewer televising, pipeline cleaning, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with water, sewer, televising, jetting, or CIPP construction.
• Knowledge of closed video camera equipment and high-pressure sewer cleaning equipment.
• Safety awareness and ability to work in potentially hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote CCTV cameras to record interiors of pipelines for inspections.
• Jetting, cabling, and installing clean-outs; locate manholes from maps.
• Maintain and repair pipelines; supervise jetting and vactoring tasks.
• Set up and take down traffic control; store footage.
• Travel to job sites as required; work around waterlines and sewers.
