Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CCTV Operator to support inspection and rehabilitation tasks for water and sewer infrastructure in Virginia. The role involves operating CCTV cameras, jetting and cleaning pipelines, locating manholes, and maintaining equipment within a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

The position requires at least 1 year of related experience, strong communication, and familiarity with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with water, sewer, televising, jetting, or CIPP construction.
• General knowledge of the operation of closed video camera equipment and high pressure sewer cleaning equipment.
• PACP/MACP/LACP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote CCTV cameras to record interiors of pipelines for inspections.
• Jetting, cabling, and installing clean-outs as required.
• Locate manholes from maps and perform related duties.
• Support sewer maintenance, inspection, and rehabilitation tasks.
• Operate and maintain all equipment.
• Set up/take-down traffic control in streets.
