Job summary

STV Incorporated in Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced CBTC Project Manager to lead busy rail and transit programs involving CBTC, signaling, train control and systems integration. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of CBTC experience and a proven track record delivering complex projects from planning through commissioning.

You will manage scope, schedule and budgets while coordinating with clients, agencies, and engineering teams, mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional effort

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years CBTC experience.
• Experience managing CBTC, train control, signaling projects.
• Strong CBTC architecture knowledge and interfaces.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary rail projects across phases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CBTC and train control projects through planning, design, procurement, integration, testing, commissioning and implementation.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact for CBTC programs.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, risks and quality.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across signaling, train control, systems engineering, comms, power, vehicles and operations.
• Coordinate CBTC interfaces with subsystems, infrastructure and legacy systems.
• Provide leadership during design reviews, coordination meetings, integration, testing and system acceptance.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, system integrators and suppliers.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies; monitor progress against contracts, milestones and budgets.
• Support change management, project controls, and documentation for complex systems projects.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, agencies and project leadership.
