Job summary

STV Incorporated seeks an Engineering Specialist in the Rail & Transit Systems to support planning, design, integration, and delivery of complex transit projects, including signaling, CBTC, communications, SCADA, traction power, and related rail infrastructure systems.

You will develop and manage system requirements, coordinate interfaces among multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that subsystems function together as an integrated transportation system throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Computer, Mechanical, or related field).
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes.
• Experience or coursework in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jama).
• Understanding of interface management, systems integration, and transit infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, trace, and verify system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead interface management activities between signaling, communications, vehicles, civil, track, power, operations, and maintenance teams.
• Support systems engineering processes including requirements management, configuration management, verification & validation (V&V), and systems integration.
• Coordinate technical reviews, interface control documents (ICDs), and requirements compliance activities.
• Assist with risk management, design reviews, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
