Job summary

STV in Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced CBTC Project Manager to lead complex rail and transit projects involving CBTC, signaling, and train control. You will manage scope, schedule and budgets while coordinating across engineering, systems integration, and client teams to ensure successful delivery through design, testing, commissioning and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of direct CBTC experience.
• Experience managing CBTC, train control, signaling or related rail systems projects.
• Strong systems engineering and interdisciplinary interface management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CBTC and train control projects from planning through implementation.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing and risks across projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across signaling, train control, systems engineering, and other rail disciplines.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between CBTC and subsystems, infrastructure, and vehicles.
• Provide leadership during design reviews, testing, commissioning and system acceptance.
• Mentor and provide technical/project leadership to engineers and team members.
• Support business development and pursuit activities related to CBTC and train control.
