Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions within treatment programs. You will assess behavior, develop individualized plans, and train patients and families while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to monitor outcomes.

The role emphasizes supervision, documentation, and adherence to clinical standards. Responsibilities include delivering CBT services, participating in treatment planning, and ensuring accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential or state equivalent, if required by program.
• CBT experience of 12 months preferred; relevant care or educational experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups under supervision to address patient needs.
• Participate in supervision with Clinical leader and communicate patient progress.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services and ensure timely medical record entries.
• Assist in treatment planning, team meetings, and communication with care teams.
• Provide parent or support person training on CBT interventions and behavioral plans.
