Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Madison, WI seeks a Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions within treatment programs. You will assess behavior function, develop plans, train patients and support persons, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust interventions for optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering CBT services, documenting care, and training staff in CBT methods while ensuring patient safety and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (human services, psychology, social work, or related field).
• Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) required for Addiction Recovery programs.
• Relevant CBT experience (12 months preferred).
• Experience in clinical care, human services, or educational equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups, to patients under supervision to address needs and goals.
• Participate in supervision sessions with the Clinical leader and communicate patient progress and care plan changes.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions, adjust as needed, document outcomes and treatment plans.
• Assist in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and educate staff and supports on CBT interventions.
