Job summary

Hive + Co seeks a CBRNE Project Manager to lead a project and staff delivering direct customer support from a client facility in the Washington, DC Metro Area. You will develop project plans, manage cost, schedule, and performance, and align client expectations throughout execution.

The role requires a BS/BA (masters preferred) in life sciences or related field with 10+ years PM experience, plus experience with $10M+ programs, contract types, and a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in life science, chemistry, physics or mathematical discipline with at least 10 years of project management experience.
• Experience leading technical research, business development and marketing programs worth $10M+ annually across organizational lines.
• Knowledge of government and industrial contract work, including fixed price, cost plus, and time and materials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Defines project requirements identifying all elements of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Leads development and refinement of the Work Breakdown Structure for project completion.
• Directs estimation of project costs and budgeting.
• Manages cost, schedule, and performance; implements change management and control.
• Establishes project performance metrics and risk management plans.
• Communicates regularly with clients to clarify requirements and progress; builds client relationships.
