Job summary

Battelle in the Washington DC Metro Area seeks a CBRNE Project Manager to lead high-impact programs at the intersection of science and national security. You will manage full lifecycle projects, develop plans, control cost and schedule, and steward client relationships within government settings.

The role requires a strong track record in project management, earned value management, and cross-functional leadership, with TS/SCI clearance; a bachelor's or master's in a life science or related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in life science, chemistry, physics, or a mathematical discipline.
• At least 10 years of project management experience.
• Experience leading proposal teams and working with fixed price, cost-plus, and T&M contracts.
• U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of the program Work Breakdown Structure and cost/schedule estimation.
• Build and sustain client relationships and communicate progress.
• Collaborate with Business Development on proposals and teaming strategies.
• Manage cost, schedule, performance; apply EVM and corrective actions.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing project team.
• Support contract negotiations and administrative project reviews.
