Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a Director of Vicariate Operations to align daily vicariate activities with archdiocesan priorities on evangelization and outreach. You will coordinate parish relations and central curial offices, ensuring coherent execution of programs and strategic plans.

Responsibilities include managing office operations, facilitating communication across departments, and guiding HR-related change and training initiatives under the Episcopal Vicar and vicariate leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Catholic and willing to adhere to ethical code of conduct.
• Experience strategizing and executing operational structures from institutional vision or plan.
• Experience handling inquiries for a service-related entity such as a parish.
• Proficient with MS Office, parish census/directory systems, SAP, and internet software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the vicariate office and oversee operational processes and infrastructure.
• Serve as primary contact to improve accessibility, efficiency, and effectiveness of vicariate staff and curial liaisons.
• Foster internal collaboration among vicariate staff and archdiocesan liaisons.
• Coordinate with pastors and parish staff to connect with centralized archdiocesan offices and ministries.
