Job summary

Archdiocese of Chicago seeks an Operations Director for St. Vincent Ferrer-Vicariate IV in River Forest, IL. The role leads financial management, school support, buildings, HR, and communications to ensure sound operations in alignment with Catholic mission and diocesan policies.

The Director will oversee budgets, reporting, vendor relations, capital projects, and staff performance while supporting pastors, principals, and parish leadership in a dynamic not-for-profit parish setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related business practices.
• Experience in Human Resources practices, including people leadership, interviewing and selection, policy application.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, evaluates, and communicates parish budgets, annual reports, profit & loss, balance sheet, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
• Oversees purchasing, contract negotiations and vendor relationships; coordinates school finances and capital projects as applicable.
• Manages parish office staff and employee performance, including performance reviews and HR policies.
