Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures. You will assist physicians during invasive procedures, manage images, and help maintain equipment while contributing to quality improvement and on-call coverage.

Qualified candidates have cardiovascular clinical experience, a health sciences degree, and relevant certifications. ACLS/BLS are required within stated timelines; RCIS/ARRT credentials within two years are

Qualifications

• Four years clinical patient care experience required, if not graduate of Cardiovascular Invasive program.
• Graduate of diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate in health sciences.
• RCIS/RCES/ARRT CI/VI exam required within two years of hire.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• RCIS credential or ARRT advanced certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to adults in Cardiac Cath Lab and adolescents to older adults in Special Procedures.
• Assist physicians during invasive, sterile procedures.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or response to treatments.
• Responsible for image management.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement; on-call responsibilities.
• Demonstrate ability to work under stressful or emergent situations.
