Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support adult and adolescent patients in invasive procedures. You will assist physicians during sterile procedures, manage images, and help maintain equipment and supplies.

Requirements include 4 years of clinical patient care or a Cardiovascular Invasive program graduate, RCIS/RCES/ARRT CI/VI or equivalent, ACLS within 6 months, and BLS. On-call responsibilities are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Four years clinical patient care experience required, if not graduate of Cardiovascular Invasive program.
• RCIS/RCES/ARRT CI/VI examination within two years of hire required.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to adults in the Cardiac Cath Lab and to adolescents, adults and older adults in Special Procedures.
• Assist physicians during invasive, sterile procedures and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Responsible for image management and equipment/inventory maintenance.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement; on-call duties; work under stressful or emergent situations.
