Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will assist physicians during invasive procedures, manage images, maintain equipment, and participate in performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Four years clinical patient care experience required, if not graduate of Cardiovascular Invasive program.
• Previous cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• A graduate of diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate academic program in health sciences required (includes, but not limited to cardiovascular technology, nursing, paramedic, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or ultrasound.)
• Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to adults in the Cardiac Cath Lab and to adolescents, adults and older adults in Special Procedures.
• Assist physicians during invasive, sterile procedures and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Responsible for image management and maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement; on-call responsibility.
