Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures. You will assist physicians during invasive procedures, respond quickly to patient changes, and manage imaging and equipment, while contributing to quality improvement and on-call coverage.

The role requires 4 years of clinical patient care or Cardiovascular Invasive program graduation, RCIS/RCES/ARRT CI/VI or equivalent, and ACLS with BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Four years of clinical patient care experience required or graduate of Cardiovascular Invasive program.
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Invasive program preferred.
• RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CI/VI exam within two years of hire required.
• ACLS required within six months of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to adults in the Cardiac Cath Lab and to adolescents and adults in Special Procedures.
• Assist physicians during invasive, sterile procedures.
• Respond to changes in patient condition or response to treatments; manage imaging.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Take on-call responsibilities and work under stressful or emergent conditions.
