Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to provide care for adults in the Cath Lab and older adults in special procedures. You will assist physicians during invasive, sterile procedures and support imaging and equipment management.

The role requires four years of clinical patient care or graduation from a cardiovascular invasive program, RCIS/RCES/ARRT CI/VI exams within two years, ACLS within six months, and strong critical thinking under pressure.

Qualifications

• Four years clinical patient care experience required, or graduate of Cardiovascular Invasive program.
• RCIS/RCES/ARRT CI/VI exams required within two years of hire.
• ACLS required within six months; BLS required.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to adults in the Cardiac Cath Lab and to adolescents to older adults in Special Procedures.
• Assist physicians during invasive, sterile procedures.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and manage imaging and equipment.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives; maintain on-call duties.
• Demonstrate ability to work under stressful or emergent situations.
