Job summary

Ascension Franklin in Franklin, WI is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team for a full-time Days position. You will support real-time monitoring, equipment prep, sterile technique, and patient safety during procedures.

Responsibilities include educating patients after procedures, coordinating room transitions, and maintaining infection control to ensure a safe healing environment. A strong credentialing background and proximity to the hospital are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• BLS plus one or more credentials from CCI CVIS, CCI Electrophysiology, or ARRT Radiography acquired prior to hire/transfer date.
• Education: high school equivalency with 2 years' cumulative experience or assoc/technical degree or 4 years' experience in applicable role.
• Weekday 0800–1730 four days a week; live within 30 minutes of hospital; rotation for call.

Responsibilities

• Lead real-time physiological monitoring by tracking heart rhythms and hemodynamic data to provide critical insights to the clinical team.
• Prepare specialized equipment and maintain sterile environment to support procedure flow.
• Communicate patient status precisely and alert care team to changes for safety.
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and facilitate safe transition home.
• Manage room transitions and infection control to ensure a clean, safe care space.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Lead real-time physiological monitoring by tracking heart rhythms and hemodynamic data to provide the clinical team with the critical insights needed for split-second decision-making.
• Anticipate and adapt to procedure flow by preparing specialized equipment and maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring the physician has exactly what they need before they even ask for it.
• Communicate patient status with precision, identifying subtle changes in condition and alerting the care team immediately to maintain the highest standards of patient safety.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s)

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s)

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
