Job summary

Ascension Premiere Staffing - Cardiac Cath Lab in Texas and Oklahoma is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to join our team for 40 hours a week. You will assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, review medical histories, prepare testing sites, interpret results, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.

Required: BLS within 30 days; CVIS/CCP/ARRT/ARDMS credentials prior to hire; high school diploma with experience or associate/technical degree.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Credential options include: CCI CVIS, Cardiographic Tech, ARRT Radiologic Technologist, ARDMS Cardiac Sonographer.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Education requirements: High School diploma with 2+ years experience or an Associate/ Technical degree or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with diagnostic and treatment procedures, reviewing medical histories, and preparing testing sites.
• Interpreting test results, correcting recording errors, and monitoring patients for abnormal findings before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensuring the lab and equipment are clean, orderly, and functional, including reporting malfunctions and performing lock/tag-out procedures.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Approved Local Exception preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 1+ year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Technician.
