Job summary
Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The RN will lead within the Mayo Nursing Care Model, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Strong communication and flexibility are essential as shifts vary and may include evenings and weekends. Qualified candidates have a nursing degree, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least one year
Qualifications
- RN graduate with nursing program completion.
- Current RN license in the applicable state with BLS/ACLS.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; Mayo Clinic preferred.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and EMR proficiency.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate nursing care and patient education for assigned patients.
- Monitor and respond to patient conditions; administer medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families about procedures and care.
- Maintain infection control protocols and accurate documentation.
- Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives.
