Mayo Clinic in Florida (Jacksonville) is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate comprehensive cardiac care. The RN will provide direct patient care, educate families, and ensure safe transitions of care within Mayo Clinic’s care model.

Roles include leadership activities, collaboration with the care team, and adherence to infection control standards. Experience requirements include RN licensure by state, BLS/ACLS, and flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license by state requirements; BLS and ACLS competency.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends and on-call.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork and critical thinking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough patient assessments pre- and post Cardiology procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments including arterial/venous sheath pulls as ordered.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding cardiac procedures and aftercare.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to changes promptly.
• Assist in TEE/cardioversion and Tilt table resting procedures with nursing support.
• Maintain infection control and a safe patient care environment.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
