Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse in Florida to coordinate nursing care for cardiology patients. You will conduct assessments, administer treatments, and educate patients and families while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays is required; BLS/ACLS certification and active RN license are essential. Prior EMR experience is preferred; on-site position at Mayo Clinic facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license as per state requirements.
• BLS and ACLS competency from AHA or ARC.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights/weekends.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments pre and post cardiology procedures, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding cardiac procedures and post-procedural care.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes promptly.
• Assist in TEE/cardioversion and Tilt table resting procedures; maintain sterile environment.
