Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate high-quality cardiac care. You will conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.

The role requires BLS/ACLS, Florida RN license, and flexibility to work varied shifts. You will educate patients and families on cardiac procedures, monitor rhythms, and maintain infection control standards while documenting

Qualifications

Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
BLS and ACLS competency from approved programs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments pre and post cardiology procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to form care plans.
Educate patients and families on cardiac procedures and post-care.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes.
Assist in TEE/cardioversion and related procedures; maintain sterile environment.
Ensure infection control and document care accurately.
