Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Rita's Medical Center seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to support interventional and neuro-interventional procedures. You will prepare patients, assist practitioners, and document activity in the EMR while adhering to radiologic safety protocols and confidentiality.

The role requires ARRT certification/registration, BLS, and preference for ACLS. Related experience and state licensure per jurisdiction are advantageous, with training in EPIC and PACS common in

Qualifications

• ARRT certification/registration required or eligible.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• State licensure preferred where required by state.
• ARRT CV/IR certifications preferred.
• 1+ year radiology experience in interventional settings beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to minimize anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Review orders with referring physician for accuracy and safety.
• Document patient information and findings in the EMR.
• Follow safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of vascular anatomy and interventional lab procedures.
