Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the heart catheterization laboratory. You will operate fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment, monitor patient vitals, and support the physician during procedures while ensuring safety and accuracy of imaging.

The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic sciences, with a Bachelor’s preferred, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and ARRT certification. On-site position with flexible scheduling and opportunities for sign-on and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic sciences is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within specified timeframes.
• ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist physician during procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Document procedures in the log for accurate billing and records.
• Transmit and retrieve digital images via PACS and perform quality control.
