Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to assist cardiologists in invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures. You will operate imaging and therapy devices, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure patient safety with aseptic technique.

The role requires BLS/ACLS, Radiologic Technology certification, and strong communication skills. A fast-paced environment in the Cath Lab supports patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required/within 1 year
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (ARRT)
• Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology required

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures
• Set up and operate imaging and electrical equipment
• Knowledge of hemodynamics and EP concepts
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient safety
• Communicate effectively with patients during procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile fields
• Assist in anesthesia needs as required
• Document procedures accurately and report observations
