Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and to manage equipment, monitoring, and patient care. The role emphasizes aseptic technique, patient education, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

The candidate should hold radiologic technology certification/license with BLS and ACLS credentials, and be prepared to support complex interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider - American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS within 1 year - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Registered in Radiography (ARRT)

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures
• Set up and operate electrical/imaging equipment and computers
• Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts and cardiac anatomy
• Provide sedation administration as per policy
• Communicate with patient to alleviate anxiety during procedures
• Assist in aseptic technique and sterile field setup
• Prepare instruments for sterilization and maintain equipment safety
