Job summary

Mercy Health – Youngstown, Ohio is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist in fluoroscopic and interventional vascular procedures. You will prep patients, use sterile technique, and document findings in the EMR while adhering to radiation safety and hospital policies.

The role requires ARRT or CCI certification, BLS/ACLS preferred, and 1 year radiology experience; EPIC EHR and PACS knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred (ARRT accredited institute).
• 1 year radiology experience preferred (surgery CR).
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients and provide procedure explanations to reduce anxiety.
• Review patient data in EMR and document findings.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and protect patient confidentiality.
• Operate within the vascular lab exam protocols and liaison with team.
