Community Health Systems in Texas is seeking a Director of the Cath Lab to lead the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiac Rehab, overseeing operations, staffing, and strategic initiatives to ensure safe, efficient patient care and alignment with hospital leadership.

This role partners with cardiology teams and other departments, drives quality metrics, compliance, and staff development, while managing budgets and resources to support high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 7+ years of direct experience in lieu
• Master's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred
• Experience leading cath lab or comparable clinical departments is desirable

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of the Cath Lab, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Partners with cardiologists and nursing leaders to optimize patient flow and lab utilization.
• Monitors clinical performance metrics and drives data-driven improvements.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, CMS and other bodies.
• Develops staff education programs to maintain competency.
• Leads readiness for surveys, inspections, and audits.
