Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, TX is seeking a Director of the Cath Lab to lead administrative, clinical, and operational functions of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiac Rehab. This role partners with cardiology teams and hospital leadership to drive patient outcomes, efficiency, and compliance.

The position requires strategic oversight, staff development, and continuous process improvement to support quality care and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or seven+ years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in closely related field with Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of the Cath Lab ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Collaborates with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nursing leaders to optimize patient flow and lab resources.
• Monitors performance metrics, implements data-driven improvements for outcomes and throughput.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and participates in audits and surveys.
• Leads staff education and professional development in the Cath Lab team.
• Provides updates on department performance to hospital administration.
