Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II for the Cath Lab to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive procedure setting. You will support staff, scrub for procedures, and ensure accurate hemodynamic recording.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within 2 years, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI certification required within the first 2 years of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year in invasive cardiovascular technology or radiologic experience; telemetry and arterial/venous sheath removal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions and for peripheral diagnostics or interventions with minimal assistance.
• Sets up back table and prepares room with necessary equipment.
• Records hemodynamics for cardiac interventions and catheterizations with accuracy and documents events in the MacLab event log.
• Maintains ECG setup and rhythm monitoring.
• Transports patients as needed and ensures safety equipment checks.
