Ohio CAT in Kentucky is seeking a Sales Representative to grow our Caterpillar construction equipment business and related services. You will manage a defined territory, identify opportunities, and win new accounts by delivering expert product knowledge and tailored solutions.

This role requires 5+ years in construction equipment sales, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to partner with factory reps and departments to close deals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in the construction equipment industry; Caterpillar experience is a plus.
• Must live within proximity to the territory and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell Caterpillar equipment, rentals, and related services.
• Manage territory with strategic planning and execution.
• Build customer relationships through product knowledge and business insight.
• Negotiate deals that meet customer needs and company goals.
• Maintain records in Sales Link of leads, opportunities, and activities.
• Prepare quotes, reports, contracts, and delivery records.
• Collaborate with factory reps and Ohio Cat departments to maximize outcomes.
• Frequent visits to jobsites; prioritize safety with PPE.
