Job summary

Ohio Cat (A Division of Ohio Machinery Co.) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive sales of new and used equipment, rentals, attachments and services. You will meet sales quotas by engaging customers with in-person and phone communication and by sharing current promotions and product knowledge.

The role supports Outside Sales through lead qualification and will require strong product knowledge of Caterpillar/Ohio CAT equipment and a proven ability to quote and close sales.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must have at least two years of sales and customer service experience, preferably within the construction/heavy equipment industry.
• Ability to quote and close sales is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used equipment, rental fleet equipment, attachments and services to customers.
• Achieve opportunity-based sales quotas.
• Inform customers of current promotions and provide equipment knowledge.
• Qualify sales leads for Outside Sales Representatives.
