Job summary

Global Gourmet Catering in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, inventory, vendor management, and end-to-end supply chain planning for catering events across venues.

You will partner with culinary and operations leadership, implement galley ERP/operations software, develop cost controls, and ensure on-time delivery for high-volume events in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or logistics experience within catering, events, hospitality, foodservice, or a related industry.
• Galley experience strongly preferred; culinary ERP/procurement system experience required
• Strong understanding of food purchasing, recipe ingredients, pack sizes, yields, substitutions, and food-cost management
• Experience coordinating warehouse, receiving, distribution, and event logistics

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Purchasing: Manage purchasing across food, beverage, disposables, smallwares, equipment, and other operational supplies.
• Software & Systems Management: Use operations software to support purchasing, production planning, inventory management, and forecasting; maintain data accuracy.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service expectations; manage vendor performance.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Develop and maintain inventory controls; establish PAR levels; conduct inventories and cycle counts; monitor usage and costs.
• Catering & Event Supply Chain Planning: Translate event requirements into purchasing and logistics plans; coordinate with culinary, venues, and sales teams; handle last-minute changes.
