Job summary

asmglobal at The Star in Frisco, Texas, seeks a Catering & Special Events Coordinator to support day-to-day operations for the catering and events team. You will plan, detail, and execute catering requests for internal and external events and assist the Director of Special Events.

You will collaborate with culinary and events staff, create BEOs, floor plans, and event logistics, manage costs, and provide documentation for invoicing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in hospitality coordinator role.
• Experience in creating BEOs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of event logistics and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, detail and execute catering requests for internal and special events as assigned.
• Create event orders, floor plans and event logistics reports.
• Prepare and execute BEO meetings.
• Collaborate with culinary team to select menu options and track internal costs.
• Create event orders for ticketed events.
• Assist Director with planning and executing catering orders for internal clients.
• Provide documentation to accounting for post-event invoices.
• Plan and execute special events and support catering operations for ticketed events.
• Attend staff and stadium production meetings.
• Maintain BEO documentation and generate weekly event tracking reports.
