Job summary

Legends Global at The Star in Frisco, TX is seeking a Catering & Special Events Coordinator to support day-to-day operations of the events team and execute assigned functions for internal and external catering projects.

You will plan, detail and execute catering requests, create BEOs, floor plans and event logistics, collaborate with culinary staff on menu options, track costs and assist with on-site event management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in hospitality coordinator role.
• Detail oriented with experience creating BEOs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in special events and hospitality industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Plan, detail and execute catering requests for internal and special events.
• Create event orders, floor plans and event logistics reports.
• Prepare and execute BEO meetings.
• Collaborate with culinary team on menu options and cost tracking.
• Create event orders for ticketed events and invoices.
• Assist Director with planning and execution of catering orders.
• Support day-to-day catering operations and on-site event management.
• Maintain venue calendars and attend staff/production meetings.
