Qualifications

• Experience in catering sales or similar role with focus on client relationships.
• Knowledge of sales strategies and catering operations, including event planning and execution.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events and prioritise tasks.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office for reporting and account management.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Make selective solicitation calls to potential clients and follow up on leads.
• Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing techniques.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate all catered functions to meet hotel obligations.
• Attend and oversee catered events to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
• Maintain client relationships and build business through group leaders and meeting planners.
• Prepare monthly banquet revenue forecasts and reports.
• Collaborate with the sales department to optimize space and opportunities.
