Job summary

Stonebridge Hospitality Associates in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, seeks a Catering Sales Manager (Temporary) to drive hotel catering revenues by soliciting business and ensuring contracted obligations are met.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate events, and collaborate with the sales team to maximize catering sales and guest satisfaction. This is a temporary, full-time assignment based in Saddle Brook.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in catering sales with client relationship focus.
• Knowledge of catering operations and event planning.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple events.
• Proficiency in CRM and MS Office for reporting and account management.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Solicit catering business from potential clients.
• Follow up on leads via calls, email, or visits.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing techniques.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate all catered functions.
• Maintain organized filing and prepare reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and planners.
• Attend and oversee catered events for execution and satisfaction.
• Maintain rapport with local civic groups to generate business.
• Prepare monthly banquet revenue forecasts and reports.
• Work with sales to optimize space holds.
• Attend weekly sales and staff meetings.
