Job summary

Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to grow banquet revenue by selling and coordinating wedding, social, and meeting events not tied to Group Sales.

The ideal candidate holds a college degree or equivalent and at least three years of catering experience with emphasis on wedding sales and service. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent educational experience.
• Minimum of three years of catering experience with emphasis on wedding sales and service.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as the event schedule requires.
• Luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage fundamentals, wedding management, menu planning, and event coordination.

Responsibilities

• Solicit banquet and catering business through sales calls and marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate all aspects of social events, weddings, and small meetings.
• Act as liaison between operations staff and guests.
• Prepare and distribute banquet event orders in advance.
• Oversee function summaries and change orders.
• Work with Sales and Reservations on wedding room-block management.
