Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Catering Sales Manager in Atlanta to drive revenue through proactive catering sales, client relationship management, and seamless event execution. You will collaborate with culinary, event coordinators, and other departments to deliver exceptional experiences.

The role emphasizes sales acumen, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the catering industry. A Bachelor’s degree and relevant sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in catering sales or a related sales role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with catering industry trends and practices.
• Proficiency in Marriott CI/TY, Microsoft Office, and relevant sales tools.
• Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development: identify and target potential catering clients and build a robust pipeline.
• Prepare and deliver detailed catering proposals, contracts, and pricing.
• Work to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Client Relationship Management: establish strong client relationships and address inquiries and special requests.
• Event Planning and Coordination: coordinate with event planners, manage logistics, and oversee timelines.
• Marketing and Promotion: assist in marketing strategies and participate in trade shows and networking.
• Reporting and Analysis: maintain records and provide performance metrics and competitive analysis.
