Job summary

Spire Hospitality in Covington, KY, seeks a Catering Sales Manager to lead catering and banquet sales for our hotels and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. The role focuses on growing revenue by pursuing new opportunities and managing key accounts within the Sales & Catering division.

Essential duties include site inspections, coordinating with hotel departments, and maintaining client databases while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role preferred.
• Food and Beverage knowledge required.
• Previous Sales experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Previous experience with Hilton Systems: PEP, Delphi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Drive catering sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities and responding promptly to inquiries.
• Lead and manage efficient sale of banquets and catering and room rentals within the Sales and Catering Division.
• Conduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offering.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless account servicing.
• Maintain a database of accounts in defined territories within the sales system.
• Participate in the development of sales plans, sales research, forecasting and other department activities.
