Job summary

gategroup is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead dish room, EPA, liquor/beverage and transportation operations in our New York area unit. You will manage 30+ hourly staff, uphold quality standards, and ensure adherence to airline specifications and regulatory policies.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, generating reports, maintaining logs, and optimizing productivity while controlling costs. Strong leadership and collaboration with HR are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in high-volume food production or catering environment preferred.
• Leadership skills and ability to coach a large team.
• Ability to train others and provide constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all dish room, liquor/beverage, and related staff.
• Ensure quality production standards for all accounts.
• Maintain policies and airline specifications.
• Prepare management reports (attendance, HAACCP, labor).
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
• Conduct inventory and maintain logs and records.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive upkeep of equipment.
• Oversight of labor costs and workflow balancing.
• Support HR in coaching and corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure proper wage and shift coverage according to needs.
