Gate Gourmet in New York, NY is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee kitchen departments, ensuring safety, efficiency and policy compliance. The role involves supervising 30+ hourly staff and coordinating transportation, flight deliveries, and maintenance with the team.

You will prepare end-of-month projections and management reports, working with the Ops Manager and GM to drive performance and minimize waste.

Qualificações

• Supervises 30+ hourly employees in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Ensures safety compliance for all areas served.
• Manages transportation routing and flight delivery coordination.
• Coordinates maintenance with staff for preventive upkeep of machinery.
• Tracks inventory and minimizes waste.
• Prepares end-of-month projections with Ops/GM.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures corporate, customer, Federal, State and local policy compliance.
• Trains and coaches staff; handles corrective action with HR.
• Manages daily manpower planning and shift staffing.
• Ensures wage & hour policy compliance and breaks.
• Interfaces with customers and employees for smooth operations.
