Eataly is seeking a Catering Lead to plan, organize and execute the catering program for our Millburn location, reporting to the Retail Manager. You will drive proposals, contracts and event orders while nurturing executive partnerships to grow catering revenue and guest satisfaction.

You will oversee on-site and off-site events, train team members on catering operations, and coordinate staffing and materials to ensure flawless execution.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in catering/sales management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fluid environment.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule often including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.

• Negotiates executive partnerships to sell catering packages for breakfast, lunch, dinner and large-scale events.
• Oversees catering events from start to finish: books, plans and executes functions.
• Executes all off-site catering for offices and VIP clients, coordinating delivery services and pickup business.
• Acts as a trainer for team members on catering operations.
• Communicates product and staffing needs for catering events on a daily basis.
• Manages catering call-backs from orders delivered same day to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handles and resolves complaints/accolades and communicates results to managers.
• Ensures catering collateral is displayed and stocked in the store at all times.

• Manages catering call-backs from orders delivered same day to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
• Handles and resolves complaints/accolades and communicates results to managers
• Ensures catering collateral is displayed and stocked in the store at all times: catering menus, catering table, business cards, etc.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
